WHEN / HOW YOU STARTED PLAYING
I started playing when I was 16 year old, I started going to a local club.
HOW THAT LED TO TOURNAMENT PLAY
After a couple of years rotating the bars and smashing the balls, I met some really good foosball players who were willing to teach me, bringing me out of town to compete with better players. I got really into the sport and then founded the Rikifoos Association so that we could start to organize tournaments in our area, which would have us player more and getting better. Through foosball, I’ve been able to make some really good friends from around the world. The game and the people really got me hooked, so much so that I become the Foosball Quebec president.
OUTSIDE OF FOOSBALL
I do research and I love sciences in general. My undergrad degree was in computer science and I am currently finishing my Masters in Electrical Engineering. I plan on doing my PHD in Neuro-Engineering to work on developing a noninvasive brain computer interface. I’ve also been a mycologist since I was 5 and I’m the proud new father of a baby girl.
